Last weeks run of red hot sunsets continued on, but I knew it had to come to an end. However, starting Monday with this delicious velvety sky below really got things off to a good start. From here on in, I either had my head buried in draft papers or was putting one foot in front of the other, pounding the pavement. With a turn in the weather, the cold snap sent me to the cozy confines of the Adelaide cafe scene. When I’m not out adventuring or training, I do love a bit of cafe time, especially when good company is involved. Thank you very much to Pickle in The Middle (IG: @pickleinthemiddle) for keeping their doors open for me, even when I was the last one left in the cafe well after pack up time. They do a mean banana bread and homemade crumpet.
Soak it in. The glow painted everyone pink.
Running Update.
Now with two weeks left before I head over to the Bali Hope Ultra Marathon, I put down another solid week of training. This week was my biggest week of running training ever, running 91.5km.
This is what it looks like broken down;
Monday – Rest day.
Tuesday – 10.12km – 55 minutes
Wednesday – 15.01 km – 1 hour 20 minutes
Thursday – 17.07km – 1 hour 30 minutes
Friday – 8.81km – 40 minutes
Saturday – 11.27km – 55 minutes
Sunday (Morning) – 24.20 km – 2 hours 20 minutes
Sunday (Evening) – 5.00km – 28 minutes
It was a lot of slow running but made a lot easier with these boys jumping in.
Chris, myself, Sam and Booker. These boys have rallied around me in training for the ultra.

I still have a long way to go with my fundraising goal; if you would like to help educate and change the lives of children in Bali. You can help donate here!

Book Update!
I am very excited to finally announce the name of my upcoming book next month. Writing and putting this book together has been a project of mine for some time now. With a few speed humps along the way, some slowing me down a bit more than others, I am very proud how it has come together.
I can’t tell you just yet when it’ll be live on amazon (very soon) but I can tell you the name. Here it is, write it down.
WHY DON’T YOU?

When it came to naming the book, I spent days brainstorming, filling page after page, trying to decide what I was going to call my first book. It’s a big deal. Then all of a sudden, these three words sprung to mind. Too often, I would find myself in conversations with people telling me about things they wanted to do, their dreams, travel or life ambitions and I would respond “Why Don’t You?” It made so much sense for me to name my book this. I want people to be able to pick my book up, whether they have 2 minutes or two hours spare, to read a page, and from thereon think more positively or differently about their day. I want to inspire people to go and do what they love and to continually work on being the best version of themselves. I am fascinated about the power of positivity and how powerfully it can impact your life.
Here’s a little sneak peak from inside.

Tell your friends, tell the world. The more people the world has going about their day in a positive way, the better.
Just a short little update from my end this week. Thank you to everyone who has either donated, sent me messages of support for the ultra marathon or even a photo from their sunrises or sunsets throughout the week – it makes my days so much better.
Here’s my quote of the week below. Catch you soon,
Josh.
You know you have to make changes, and that they will benefit you.
Yet, change will only occur when the fear of change is less than the benefits of the change. – Joshua Lynott
Maybe it’s time for the winter pastels to creep in?
