Italy may have just leap-frogged itself into contention for my favourite country.
A man messaged me this week some writing he had done whilst in Italy. He started with a quote from Samuel Johnson which said,
“A man who has not been in Italy, is always conscious of an inferiority, from his not having seen what it is expected a man should see.”
This quote speaks volumes. As millions of people fly into Italy each year, they all come for various reasons. Some come for the fast cars, some for the food, the people, the beaches and others like me, come for the mountains. Italy offers so much and we experienced this around each and every bend of the road we travelled. Whilst driving, we continuously found ourselves in a state of awe.
If Italy has ever been on your list of places to see, I urge you to visit. If you’ve been to Italy before but haven’t been to The Dolomites, I urge you to visit. The mountains of the Dolomites are so grand yet so humbling and force you to feel alive.
With only 10 days in The Dolomites, we barely touched the surface of what was on offer. We created a Dolomites must-see list and put them all on a map! Unfortunately, we didn’t make it to them all but we gave it a good shot.

Three of my favourite photos from the week.
Just a short post this week.
My brain is still processing the things I’ve seen.
